APPLE BUTTER

12.5 pound (lbs) apple

2 cup apple juice

3 tsp cloves

5-6 tsp cinnamon

3 tsp ginger

1 tsp salt

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar

1/2 cup sugar


The cores of the apples are removed and sliced.

It is placed in the pot with the prepared apple juice.

After it starts to boil, reduce the heat and boil until it softens.

It is crushed with a blender.

Strain the apple puree.

Add 3 tsp cloves, 6 tsp cinnamon, 3 tsp ginger, 1 tsp, 1/4 cup apple vinegar,
1/2 cup sugar (you can add what ever you want) to applesauce.

Boil on low heat for approximately 6,5 hours.

Test on a plate. (as seen in the picture)

When the consistency reaches the desired level, look at the consistency of the plate.

Then pour it into jars.

Close the lids of the jars and pasteurize them.
